The meat of the Muscovy is unlike that of the other domestic ducks. It is not greasy and is much more like veal than like poultry. Turk Farms raises free range Muscovy ducks that have fresh tender meat at about 4 pounds dressed. They are available now. Try one for dinner!!

Saturday is here again and so is the Hartland Farmer’s Market. Since it is the third Saturday there will also
be garage sale vendors to visit. We have a lot of our pork products and the produce is starting to come in.
Our market will have our honey friends along with a few new vendors.
Our family has signed up to walk at the Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides walk. Friends of ours have a family member with this awful disease and we feel we want to do what we can for them. We will have a bake sale at the Farmer’s Market to raise funds this Saturday.
