Flint Farmers Market

The Flint Farmers Market is a year ’round affair with both indoor and outdoor booths. It’s open Tuesdays and Thursday (9-5pm) and Saturdays (8-5pm) at 420 E. Boulevard Dr., Flint, MI 48503 (Exit 8A off of I-475). Find out more at their web site: FlintFarmersMarket.com

The Flint Farmers Market is the flagship for Jar Head Salsa created by Gunnery Sergeant Dave Smith USMC, Retired. The salsa is produced in a local VFW kitchen from a secret blend of cilantro, citrus juices, and spices added to fresh vegetables from the Detroit’s Eastern Market and (in season) from local farmers to produce a full brigade of flavor. Ten percentage of salsa proceeds go to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. While The Gunny is retired, you’ll usually find him selling Jar Head Salsa on most Saturdays at the Flint Market and most Sundays at the Grand Blanc Market.
